On Sunday, April 28 our little church plant in Lajas celebrated its one year anniversary---with a "not so little" response from our community---we had almost 200 people in attendance!! We all were shocked by that type of turnout---it was a beautiful thing to look out at everyone and see so many faces that we have connected with in big or small ways since we have moved here. We also had some guests from Iglesia Vida Nueva, the church we attended the last year we lived in Santiago.
During the day we had so many from the church come to help get ready for the event--young and old alike---decorating, cooking, cleaning, etc--a beautiful reflection of "the body of Christ" working together in love.
So the rest of this blog with attempt to capture the moment in photos--thanks to our own special photographer,our daughter Beka---ENJOY...
We are full of gratitude to our great God and to you all for the rich journey we have been on----please continue to pray for us all as we seek to "walk out together" what it means to follow Christ---we have included new prayer requests and some words of encouragement on the right hand panel.
