Our biggest news this past month is that our church plant here in Lajas celebrated its two year anniversary--it was a beautiful day of celebration in the community--our young leaders felt very overwhelmed by and grateful for God's grace, love and power in their lives and this community over the past few years!!!

Something else new that we are doing is reserving Wednesday nights to do a prayer/praise service in different homes in the community---we have loved the intimacy of this...and pray it bears fruit...
We have been pouring into our young leaders here ...with times of fellowship as a team and times of teaching/training...

A sweet blessing over the years here has been to walk alongside a number of young couples mentoring them as they prepare for marriage and then begin their families---we recently participated in a baby dedication as God-parents to a long awaited daughter of our dear friends and fellow missionaries--Amaury and Catherine Gracesqui---here we are with sweet baby Josephine!!
We also are very much enjoying having Rachael home with us after her YWAM training and service--She has gotten very involved in the community and the church---helping the young women of the community start a small group to learn more about Jesus and keep one another accountable to put into practice what they are learning--she is also participating in and helping train the church's worship team---she has made a firm decision to attend Taylor University in Indiana this fall.

We are very much enjoying this season of life and ministry and we are looking forward to our Illinois visit in July and August--we are so grateful that we have both a place to stay and a vehicle to drive!!! We are continually amazed at how God provides---ALWAYS!!
